1.20.6
Upgrade stdlib to this version or later

Description

The HTTP/1 client does not fully validate the contents of the Host header. A maliciously crafted Host header can inject additional headers or entire requests.

With fix, the HTTP/1 client now refuses to send requests containing an invalid Request.Host or Request.URL.Host value.

How to fix

Move to the fixed version or later with your package manager, update the lockfile, and run your tests. If the package only arrives through another dependency, upgrade that dependency first. If none of its releases pulls a fixed version yet, force the version with your package manager's override.

go get stdlib@v1.20.6 && go mod tidy
