Upgrade stdlib to this version or later

Description

Calling File.ImportedSymbols on a loaded file which contains an invalid dynamic symbol table command can cause a panic, in particular if the encoded number of undefined symbols is larger than the number of symbols in the symbol table.

Affected versions

Go

PackageVulnerableFixed in
stdlib
< 1.16.10
>= 1.17.0-0, < 1.17.3
1.16.10
1.17.3

How to fix

Move to the fixed version or later with your package manager, update the lockfile, and run your tests. If the package only arrives through another dependency, upgrade that dependency first. If none of its releases pulls a fixed version yet, force the version with your package manager's override.

stdlib Go → 1.17.3

go
go get stdlib@v1.17.3 && go mod tidy
