- Fix
1.10.1- Upgrade apache-airflow to this version or later
Description
The LDAP auth backend (airflow.contrib.auth.backends.ldap_auth) prior to Apache Airflow 1.10.1 was misconfigured and contained improper checking of exceptions which disabled server certificate checking.
Affected versions
PyPI
| Package | Vulnerable | Fixed in |
|---|---|---|
| apache-airflow | < 1.10.1 |
1.10.1 |
How to fix
Move to the fixed version or later with your package manager, update the lockfile, and run your tests. If the package only arrives through another dependency, upgrade that dependency first. If none of its releases pulls a fixed version yet, force the version with your package manager's override.
apache-airflow PyPI → 1.10.1
- pip
pip install --upgrade "apache-airflow>=1.10.1"- poetry
poetry add "apache-airflow>=1.10.1"- uv
uv add "apache-airflow>=1.10.1"

CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation
The product does not validate, or incorrectly validates, a certificate.
How to prevent it
