Description

Duplicate Advisory

This advisory has been withdrawn because it is a duplicate of GHSA-f5p5-6xmx-p252. This link is maintained to preserve external references.

Original Description

A flaw was found in Keycloak Policy Enforcer. This vulnerability allows any authenticated user to bypass all authorization policies, including role, scope, and User-Managed Access (UMA) permission checks. By including the configured access-denied page path within a request URL, either as a path segment or a query parameter, an attacker can gain unauthorized access to protected resources.

How to fix

Move to the fixed version or later with your package manager, update the lockfile, and run your tests. If the package only arrives through another dependency, upgrade that dependency first. If none of its releases pulls a fixed version yet, force the version with your package manager's override.

org.keycloak:keycloak-policy-enforcer Maven → 26.0.10

maven
<dependency><groupId>org.keycloak</groupId><artifactId>keycloak-policy-enforcer</artifactId><version>26.0.10</version></dependency>
gradle
implementation("org.keycloak:keycloak-policy-enforcer:26.0.10")

org.keycloak:keycloak-services Maven → 26.6.4

maven
<dependency><groupId>org.keycloak</groupId><artifactId>keycloak-services</artifactId><version>26.6.4</version></dependency>
gradle
implementation("org.keycloak:keycloak-services:26.6.4")
