2013.1.4- Upgrade keystone to this version or later
Description
The (1) mamcache and (2) KVS token backends in OpenStack Identity (Keystone) Folsom 2012.2.x and Grizzly before 2013.1.4 do not properly compare the PKI token revocation list with PKI tokens, which allow remote attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via a revoked PKI token.
Affected versions
PyPI
| Package | Vulnerable | Fixed in |
|---|---|---|
| keystone | >= 2012.2.0, < 2013.1.4 |
2013.1.4 |
How to fix
Move to the fixed version or later with your package manager, update the lockfile, and run your tests. If the package only arrives through another dependency, upgrade that dependency first. If none of its releases pulls a fixed version yet, force the version with your package manager's override.
keystone PyPI → 2013.1.4
- pip
pip install --upgrade "keystone>=2013.1.4"- poetry
poetry add "keystone>=2013.1.4"- uv
uv add "keystone>=2013.1.4"
